I am a believer in Jesus Christ the son of God. It is only through the Bible, the holy word of God, that I know fully who Christ was, is, and always will be. I then share the knowledge I've gained with others. Through reading the holy text, I am a literate christian.
I am not a male. I am not very athletic. I am a woman. I am a female. I love baking and reading engagement and wedding stories.
I just read a status update on facebook: Kevin: women don't get exhausted. They just exhaust others.
I don't agree fully with that statement made by Kevin, but I was able to read it.
I look forward to being able to bear children and I will read all those parenting magazines and love having kids. I know which bathroom to go into when I go down the hall. I am a literate woman.
My parents are wonderful people. They had the greatest influence on my development as a child. If it weren't for them I could have been an illiterate person. They sent me to good schools and worked with me at home. I became a literate young child that loved school. I am their daughter and always will be. I mostly communicate with them through e-mail now, keeping each other updated with our lives. I am a literate daughter.
I got married this summer to the man of my dreams. Korey and I read together and pray together. We also leave each other notes of encouragement and love. I can convey my love for my husband through the words that I leave him in a letter. I am a literate wife.

It is my senior year as a student at the University of Oklahoma. I am taking 16 hours this fall semester of 2009. This is my schedule from my iCalendar. Professors give me assignments and through my past education, I am able to read the assigned readings and journal my reflections. I am taking and giving knowledge through my literacy. I am a literate student.

I am a literate babysitter. I can communicate with these children on their level. I read children's books to them. Thomas the Train is Maragaret's favorite books. Michael really enjoys books about construction and the different construction vehicles. We read them together and I aid these young ones in their discovery of learning to read. I am a literate babysitter.
